Namaskaram!

My Journey into the yogic lifestyle began in 2001 when a Chiropractor
suggested yoga to relieve a spinal mis-alignment and chronic back
pain. The program was deeply effective and presented many additional
benefits. Out of this initial experience with yoga, I felt inspired to share
this ancient science and all of its healing potential with others. In
2003, I founded The Yoga Center of Menominee, a yoga studio and
healing arts center -- the first of its kind in the Menominee/Marinette
area. Shortly after opening the studio, I was introduced to
Reiki, which
has become a powerful healing tool in my Journey. After five years of
growth and community building within the studio environment, I
answered the call to close the center to deepen my personal yoga and
meditation practice and pursue my personal inner growth. I took a rich
hiatus from group yoga classes that spanned a full 16 months,
offering only private yoga lessons during this time of inward focus. I
returned to teaching group yoga as a freelance teacher in January of
2009, and am grateful for the warm return welcome I have received
from students, both familiar and new.

After 7 years of serving in Michigan, I have relocated to Madison,
Wisconsin to deepen my teaching experience and opportunities. I
currently serve Madison and Brookfield/Milwaukee, Wisconsin as a
certified
yoga teacher, Reiki Master Teacher, and Thai Yoga Therapist
(Thai Massage). I offer my yoga classes and workshops at several
locations in
Madison, as well as serving as a yoga teacher and studio
manager at
YogAsylum in Brookfield. Those who choose to learn with
me enjoy individualized programs that nourish the body, mind, and
soul, as well as group classes that honor the synergy of learning
within the group dynamic.

Social, spiritual and environmental awareness are important to me,
and I weave these topics throughout my teaching including the
subjects of human rights, animal rights, environmental responsibility,
and ending war by practicing love, compassion, and acceptance. One
of my greatest desires is to deepen my impact as a philanthropist (one
who voluntarily promotes the welfare of all beings everywhere). My
concern for the well-being of all who live on this planet is the
heart-beat of my work.

My path in life has brought me to realize that in order to be an
effective teacher, I must first be a student. Being a student is my first
priority, teaching what I have learned then flows naturally. It is my
daily practice to continue my own healing process and deepen my
own spiritual connection, so that I can be as clear and open a channel
for love and grace as possible.

I am so grateful our paths have crossed. Meet you on the Mat!

Namaste,

Marty Tribble
"I will not die an unlived life. I will
not live in fear of falling or catching
fire. I choose to inhabit my days, to
me less afraid, more accessible, to
loosen my heart until it becomes a
wing, a torch, a promise.
I choose to risk my significance; to
live so that which comes to me as
that which comes to me as blossom,
goes on as fruit."
