”Life is Generous” Collage Painting

The Paint with Me series features specific painting projects for each class, so you’ll be completing your painting alongside Marty step-by-step. All classes are created with total beginners in mind!

You’ll get a feel for how Marty works, from messy, colorful backgrounds to the finishing touches that pull a painting together.

You’ll need some basic painting supplies, many of which are repeated in other classes in the Paint with Me series. Links are provided inside the course to the exact materials used.

Here’s the supply list:

6” x 6” canvas or other painting surface

paint palette*

paint brush(es)

1” foam brush(es)

acrylic paint (see class for colors)

jar or cup for water

an old towel or cloth

access to a printer*

scissors

water-based acrylic paint pens*

paper glue

varnish*

a small dish for glue and varnish*

gloves to protect hands while varnishing
